STEAK AND HOAGIE FACTORY
ROLLS BAKED ON PREMISES
Forget about Willie Wonka and his chocolate factory. The Steak and Hoagie Factory is real, and has been satisfying Philadelphia suburbanites' cheesesteak cravings since 1990. Their wonderful steaks are now available in 4 locations - Abington, Warminster, Richboro, and (most recently) Newtown.
Despite what its name might suggest, the Steak and Hoagie Factory is not a fast food chain. Far from it. Each location has its own individual look and character, and every sandwich is made to order and comes hot off the grill. There are no heat lamps in this factory.
Owner Michael Mayberry's formula for success is simple - a delicious roll makes for a delicious cheesesteak, so why not bake the rolls on premises? Liscio's, widely regarded as one of the area's best bakeries, prepares French-style rolls according to the Steak and Hoagie Factory's unique recipe and delivers them to each location up to 4 times a day. The rolls are then baked continuously right there in the store to a fresh, slightly crispy consistency. Add in high-quality beef, onions, and cheese prepared by experienced grillmasters, and you have a sandwich as good as any you will find in the Delaware Valley.
